My name is Gogo Cheynov. I was born in Germany, I am originally from Bulgaria and I hold British citizenship. After 1 month in Germany, I moved to Bulgaria where I spent the first 6 years of my life completing my early childhood education. At the age of 6, I emigrated to Greece where I lived for 12 years and completed my primary and secondary education, finishing with a Baccalaureate in Humanities and Social Sciences. At the age of 18, I left for England to continue my higher education, where I completed a Degree in Law and International Relations and subsequently obtained a Postgraduate Degree, earning a Diploma in Law and Professional Practice.

During my time as a university student, I worked for 1 year as Volunteer Assistant in a charity shop, 2 years as a Waiter in an English restaurant, and 4 years as a Marketing Assistant at the university where I studied. After completing my Degree, I embarked on a 7-year professional experience working as a Lawyer in various international law firms, specialising in English civil law and, more specifically, in the area of legal claims and legal costs for personal injury resulting from accidents suffered in various types of circumstances.

After spending 11 years in England, I moved to Spain, where I have been living for 2 years now. Following a decision to change career paths from the field of law to the field of translation, I went from being an employed lawyer to a self-employed translator, where for around 3 years I have been and continue to be dedicated to carrying out legal, financial and medical translations.

During my time in England, I was a registered lawyer (Chartered Legal Executive) with professional membership of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX). I am currently a Professional Member of the Spanish Association of Translators, Proofreaders and Interpreters (ASETRAD).
